I have been very happily married to my wonderful husband Dan for almost 25 years. We have 4 great children & 2 amazing grandsons! We have lived in the Willamette Valley for 20 years and have called Salem home since 2002.
I've worked in real estate for over 13 years and have been at Windermere Real Estate for 4 years. Windermere is such a wonderful company to work for. I love coming to work each day and enjoy all of our agents. I have continually been impressed with the quality of character and ethics of each of our agents including the owners Pam & Onna McColly.
In my spare time, I enjoying reading a good book, shopping, and hanging out with my family and friends.
I have lived in the Salem/Silverton area all my life. My childhood was spent in the Silverton area, just 20 miles to the East of Salem. I can comfortably say I know the Willamette Valley very well. I love Real Estate, all the challenges, the education found in knowing the community, helping people find that right home to live and raise their family. Windermere is all about family, working together to make everyones life better.
I started my real estate career in 1990 after having owned my own protective clothing business for 15 years. Opening the first startup office in Oregon on July 21, 1997 we have grown steadily. We have full time agents who are well trained and have education available to them either in office or out of the office at no less than semi-weekly. We have a full time receptionist, transaction coordinator, and bookkeeper and our office is open 7 days a week. We also have 3 full time Principal Brokers to assist our brokers.
Windermere has so many great programs to offer our clients. We specialize in residential, small acreage, manufactured homes, and commercial. We also have the expertise to handle everything from first time home buyers, to investers, HUD homes, short sales and the cash buyer. We love real estate and can`t imagine doing anything else. If you love your job, the rest is easy.
As a company we are involved in on-going programs to help the low income and homeless in the Salem area. The Windermere Foundation was set up to help those in need in our community. We set one day aside every June 18th to donate our time to help a local cause. We provide back packs to first graders when school starts, car seats to first time mothers, and eye glasses to children when parents are financially unable to provide them. We deliver Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners and sponsor families with gifts for the holidays. A portion of each agents check goes towards these great causes.
Windermere is a full service brokerage with a solid reputation. We are committed to exceptional service, honesty and communication. Each agent at Windermere is exposed to quality education, cutting edge technology and innovative marketing tools/resources.
Onna joined Windermere Real Estate in April of 2003 and became a licensed broker in June of 2008. Over the last 15 years, she has transitioned from providing service at a staff level to being part of the ownership and management team. Onna also enjoys working as a buyer's and seller's agent. She has extensive knowledge regarding HUD owned properties.
Helping Homeless, Low-income Families and Children. Every transaction makes a difference Windermere’s commitment to serving our communities goes beyond providing our buyers and sellers the best in real estate services. Every time a Windermere broker sells a home, a portion of the commission goes to the Windermere Foundation, a non-profit organization. Contributions from Windermere brokers combined with contributions from Windermere employees and the public have allowed the Windermere Foundation to distribute in excess of a million dollars annually in recent years to non-profit agencies dedicated to helping homeless, low-income families and children.
Some local projects we have supported include: sending kids to summer camp, supporting mothers in crisis with brand new car seats to bring their new born baby's home from the hospital, provided "Back to School" supplies for families facing hardship, financially supported after school programs for low income families and served them hot meals once a month, purchasing eye glasses for children with vision problems, adopting families during the holidays to provide meals and gifts. In addition, each year we close the office and head up a project in the community to help others. It is a wonderful feeling to give back to the community we live and work in.
Raised in the Willamette Valley, Onna attended Sprague High School and graduated from Western Oregon University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Her studies included an accounting focus and minor in economics. She is proud to be part of the Salem community and looks forward to being part of its growth. In her free time, Onna enjoys spending time with her family exploring all that Oregon has to offer. Favorite activities include camping at Detroit Lake, snowboarding at Mt. Bachelor and riding dirt bikes or quads.
